Brexit caused so many hurdles for the Import Export market in the UK, all the new rules, regulations, duties, tariffs... We as a company were so grateful to the assistance provided by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce. Our whole team at home and beauty assistated to make sense of the new rules to our success, successfully overcoming any hurdles to get goods in and out of the UK continuing to supply our retailers and wholesalers.
One of the challenges we faced was the supply chain drying up. it appeared not everyone had the determination we had to keep trading with these new hurdles in place. In a bid to make this as simple as possible we started a new company named 'Home and Beauty BV' based in Belgium. which has proved vital to keeping business relationships running and keeping our European trading alive. Now in our second year trading, Home and Beauty BV is going from strength to strength, our Export Manager Chris is achieving great things after a rocky start to a new era for the UK.
